IT IS TRUE....
For those Kenny Chesney fans out there that were wondering if Dustin truely is from the same town as Kenny it is true. When we got married Dustin's Uncle Phil was the mayor of Luttrell so I teased him that I wanted the sign hanging up that says HOME OF COUNTRY SINGER KENNY CHESNEY... Also I have to say that his uncle is neighbors with Kenny Chesney's Mamma(grandma) and I have seen his car at his Grandmas... it was tempting not to run over like a crazed fan. Ok so anyways it saddens me to have these connections because you hear rumors that you just don't want to know... my cousin lived in the same condo development as his mom and her coworker was suppose to go to his charity ball with Kenny and she was stood up and I guess he acted like a jerk about it... so it makes me question my loyalty as a Kenny fan... although i try to ignore the rumors I heard. Oh yes and Dustin's older brother went to the same highschool as Kenny which was Gibbs... it is not the highschool that you are suppose to attend if you live in Luttrell so that is why Dustin did not go there. Well anyways just wanted to back up Dustin's claim to fame.

1. I speak arabic.
2. I have climbed pikes peak.
3. I won a bench press contest in college once.
4. I once bought a car in Colorado for a dollar that over heated really bad all the time to the point that even in the summer i had to drive around with the heater on full blast and the windows rolled down, and i drove that car all the way from Colorado to Tennessee like that with all my post mission possesions in it with computer speakers and a discman cd player plugged into a power converter on the floorboard for entertainment, AND IT MADE IT!!! Then a few months later the same car took me all the way from Tennessee to Ohio before it finally gave out. I think i got my moneys worth.
5. I am from the same small country town as Kenny Chesney and (for all you older folks) Chet Atkins, Luttrell, Tennessee; and went to school in the town where Roy Acuff was from, Maynardville,TN
6. I once got an A on a college Social - Psychology paper without even completing it. My professor wrote a note on the bottom before handing it back that said that even though i didnt complete the paper it was so good that "it demanded an A." I sat down and wrote the paper an hour before class.
7. I met my wife at a funeral.

1) I too (like my sister) find running to be not just a work out but a rewarding experience that is relaxing and peaceful... not to mention one of the few times I have to ponder and think without my cute boys disturbing me.
2)I love to dance... I especially love to Tap Dance... it is something I haven't been able to do for a while but I love doing it.
3)My senior year of high school I had a semi-lead part in our musical BYE BYE BIRDIE... I was the mother Mae.... Acting is a passion of mine!
4)Even though growing up my family always referred to me as the Beverly Hills, city girl what they don't know or ever realized, is that I LOVE the outdoors so I love playing sports (esp. tennis and basketball), camping, biking, hiking, walking (I could walk for hours), swimming, etc.
5)Some would never know but in reality I LOVE & ADORE organizing and cleaning... give me a project and the right resources and I will go to town except I have to admit.. I like to get rid of things so essentially my favorite shows are Home decorating and fix up shows... I love them... I also love the real estate shows such as House Hunters... if the market wasn't so bad right now I would look into getting my real estate liscense and I did express interest in majoring in Interior Design at one point of my life.
6)Well my mind is drawing blank to any exciting adventures I have had such as having a lizard in my mouth... I know I have had some wild rides but I just can't recall so I will just say another boring old thing that I like to do... sorry for the lack of excitingness in my responses... but growing up my family taught me an appreciation and love for all and any board/card game... I do NOT like monopoly!
7) When I was hiking in the mountains of SLC Utah a tarantula crossed my path not even 5 feet away. It was probably like 3. This could be an exciting experience for some people but for me it was not after all I am deathly afraid of spiders or any creepy crawly thing.
As for seven people to tag... I don't know seven people with blogs to tag that already haven't been tagged or that I have a link for so for now I will tag... Dustin (he will just have to post on our site), Derek(start making a page for you and your wife), Tiffany, Tara Hale, Kate, Emily Musso, Nicholas (just repost on your family's page)

Gingerbread Drama
At work at our November staff meeting we were told that we all had to do Gingerbread houses, it was mandatory. Well I am going to cut corners of the story so you just get the gist... but Austin's teachers decided that they weren't going to do it the right way, they were going to build one. Well I got upset and I couldn't let it go because he wasn't going to get his own individual house.... this is important because after you decorate it, the fun part is showing it off and eating it. So I had to say something and I did... and needless to say Austin made a gingerbread bear... and he was SOOO VERY PROUD of it... as soon as we got home he showed everyone in the house... and then 5 mins later when Aunt Terra came he drug her into the kitchen with excitement and showed her. He still won't eat it because he wants everyone to see. So I want to personally thank his teachers (in case they read this) for giving my Little Austie the opportunity to have sheer joy in showing off his very own gingerbread bear. SORRY for being an annoying mother but THANK YOU for the fun.

What A Memory
Sometimes when I am out of PJ pants or having a fat day I borrow Dustin's PJ pants.. Well the other day we were sitting in the basement and Austin starting laughing hysterically then said "Silly Daddy's wearing mommy's jammies." HE couldn't comprehend that these were not mommy's but daddy's. (This particular pair of pj pants hadn't been worn on by me in over a month.) It just amazes me sometimes what he remembers or what he says and does. He is growing up too fast!!!
