VACATION

We were excited to go on our Vacation to Ohio.. but we had to postpone a day because Mom (Tonya) got sick.. then.. Dad's(Dustin's) car brokedown so he had to use Mom's to get to work, So our trip to Ohio got canceled. We were going up there to go to the Jacob Ott Reunion and spend time with the Reed's before they moved. We made our phone calls and told everyone we were not coming. Poppop got wind of it and would not accept that as an answer so he called up and asked Dustin to meet him half way.. so we packed up the car and met Poppop in Virginia. The boys were so excited! We went up to Poppop's RV for a few days and hung out while he worked. We swam in the pool.. played on the playground.. explored the campground and caves... helped Poppop with chores and sat around while it rained and rained. The day came to leave for the campground/reunion so we packed up the RV and started our adventure. But first we must tell you about Mom's (Tonya's) ride on top of the RV.. poppop didn't have time to learn how to take down the cable so he made Tonya get on top of the RV and hold the cable cord up while he pulled out... take note that Tonya is deathly afraid of heights when she is not secure.. and it had been raining so it was very slick.. and she has fallen from a moving vehicle before...so this was not fun for her. Anyways we started on the road and we were in Kittaning, PA when Poppop's RV broke down. So we were stranded on the side of the road. We had to wait and wait for Memmaw to rescue us because there was not enough room in the tow truck for all of us. Memmaw kicked Alex out of the car to send him with Poppop, she loaded up the boys and Tonya and we were on our way. We got to the campground and did what we could to set up. Meanwhile Poppop and Alex got the RV fixed and were on their way. The reunion was lots of fun filled with games, laughter, rain, PROPOSALS, etc. We had fun visiting with all of our cousins, siblings,and relatives. On the way home from the reunion we got a call from my mom.. my sister had blown a tire and was stranded on the side of the road.. luckily she had left before us so we were actually coming up right behind her when my mom called. So My mom stopped and my dad and I stopped (we were in the RV) and we loaded up the girls into the RV and the two babies into Memmaw's car and we left for poppop's Campground. (Terra and Jared took the van to Walmart to get new tires) Anyways we made it to Poppop's campground had troubles getting the RV in because of the mud and rain but eventually we did and we left for OHIO. The boys and I had fun in Ohio we visited old friends, went to the sprinkler park,the beach, help the Reed's with packing and babysitting.. and just hung out at Memmaw's house of adventures (pool, trampoline, playground) it is like a resort! Terra even gave Mason his first haircut (for pictures please view her blog.. there is a link Reed Family)she also gave Austin his SUPER HERO haircut. The vacation had to come to an end so Memmaw met Dustin half way, in Cincinnati this time, and we came home to TN!
