Innocence of a Child
This is driving through Pigeon Forge. We had an interesting conversation at this point of our journey with Austin. (He calls our new apartment Tennessee..he thinks that just the apt is TN)
Austin: I want to go home to TN
Mom: But don't you want to go to the Mountains
Austin: No I don't want to go to the mountains cuz I fall down (off the mountains)

Here we are at the Cataract Falls in The Smokey Mountain National Park. It was a beautiful day. It has been beautiful weather, some days we have been in shorts and t-shirts... and I am a freeze baby so that says just how warm it has been.

The Power of a DETERMINED WOMAN
Sorry to everyone who has been awaiting the posts about our move... we had a nasty virus on our computer so even though we have an awesome internet connection our computer was acting ridiculously stupid and was SO SLOW. Today I spent my entire day researching prices and places to get our computer fixed in the area but I just felt unsettled. Deep down inside I knew that with the help of my computer savy fam I could fix my computer on my own. And guess what ladies (and gentlemen) I DID it.. all by myself.. well with some suggestions from my father... but HP did nothing for me they wanted to charge me $50 to tell me something I figured out all on my own. It is much too late tonight to post anything else but tomorrow my Sunday will be spent catching up... so put the kids to bed and grab a glass of lemonade and a bowl of popcorn.

There is a first for everything...
Austin has always been sick with an upper respitory infection of some sort whenever we have had a big snow... so the only time the boy has ever really played in it was for 2 mins. as a 5 month old. Because there has been an abundance of snow and Austin is healthy he got to play in it alot. Terra kept Austin on Thursday February 28, 2008 from school to spend time with him before we move. So she took him outside to play in the snow. Well the girls wanted to make snow angels so Austin did too, but didn't know how. Terra told him to lie down and wiggle his arms. So there is a picture of him lying down with his hands straight in the air wiggling them (I will get Terra to email it to me so I can post it). So that was his first snow angel experience.
Yesterday, Saturday March 1, 2008, for the first time Austin got to go sledding down a "big" hill. He was so excited all day he kept asking when we were going to go sliding. Well the first time down the hill was kind of a dud but he still said "Lets do it again mom" so we did over and over and everytime he wanted to do it again. He laughed and squealed, he had the time of his life. The only sad part was that his dad couldn't be there since he has already left for Tennessee but when we called dad to tell him of the fun Austin asked him to please come sliding with him, so hopefully dad will be able to go sliding with us soon.
